The studio is great and if you have experience, this is a good place to go as I see artists making great work. If you have no experience, they will not even speak to you if you are self-practicing and my instructor went as far as to say she didn't know how to teach me because she didn't know my technique? I have no technique! 15 hours in and I have one unglazed bowl and a lot of frustration.
Tung Yao Ceramics Design Studio is a gem of a place for anyone interested in ceramics. I had the pleasure of attending a hand-building and glazing trial workshop and was blown away by the quality of instruction and the creativity of the space. My partner loves this ceramic studio. We took 2 classes here together, and both experiences are WONDERFUL. Amber and the other instructors are really professional, and I often gain knowledge in their classes.
